Clinic Information

If your young shredder is ready to progress, then Shred & Send is the clinic for them! They’ll learn more advanced techniques for faster cornering, braking, handling bigger & rougher trail features, and we’ll introduce the skills and techniques needed for safe and confident jumping! WHO IS THIS CLINIC FOR: • Confident riders aged 9-13yrs who are comfortable on most blue trails • Kids who have previously attended a MTB skills session covering the fundamentals - so we can get straight into the action! DURATION: 3 hours DATES & TIMES: • Friday 9 January, 9.00am-12.00pm • Thursday 15 January, 9.00am-12.00pm WHAT TO BRING: • A mechanically sound mountain bike with two working hand brakes (no back pedal/coaster brakes)and closed handlebar ends (grips intact or end plugs installed) • Helmet (AS/NZS 2063 approved) and gloves (mandatory) • Optional but recommended: elbow and knee pads • A spare inner tube that fits your child’s bike tyre size • Either a hydration pack to carry water, snack & spare tube, OR water bottle on the bike + small backpack • Snacks, spare clothing and a rain jacket in a bag that can be left in a secure place and accessed if needed WHAT'S PROVIDED: • Half day shuttle uplift with Southbound Escapes • Small group coaching and individual attention • Passionate, experienced MTB instructors • A fun, supportive, and challenging outdoor experience REGISTRATION INFORMATION: • Clinic Fee: $185 (includes GST) • The clinic will run with a minimum of 4 people • This session is for kids aged 9-13yrs • Chocolate Foot is covered by its own Public Liability Insurance. You are responsible for your own Personal Injury Insurance and Ambulance Cover


Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately Mother Nature and other factors can get in the way of us enjoying our cycling fun ... as such, Chocolate Foot reserve the right to cancel a skills clinic at any time which may be due to fire, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, forest closure, or any other circumstances. Should this occur, the activities will be rescheduled where possible and your registration can be transferred to the new date or a future clinic, or we will refund your registration fee (less payment processing fees). ​Should you wish to cancel your registration, please notify us by email: info@chocolatefoot.com.au Our refund policy is as follows: For Group Clinics  * 14+ days before event date: full refund less payment processing fees * 7-14 days before event date: refund less 20% & the payment processing fees * Within 7 days of event date: no refund (however if the clinic has a wait list and your spot can be filled, we will provide a refund of the clinic fee less $20 administration fee & the payment processing fees)
