... for anyone obsessed with singletrack
The dates and locations for the 2013 SRAM Singletrack Mind Series are shown below.
Each round of the series is a stand-alone event with category prizes on the day (see Categories for more info). Series prizes will be awarded at the final round and the NSW endurance series champions will be crowned.
A link to the full information for each round will be listed above when available, but we're confident that all of these venues will provide the sweet singletrack experience that the Series is famous for!
As the premier East Coast endurance series, we aim to provide you with everything you could need (or may forget to bring) to have a great day’s racing. As always, we'll have camping available to competitors on the Saturday night. On the Sunday there will be food & drink, sponsor displays, SRAM mechanical support, drinking water, and plenty of clean dunnies.
There are a few changes to series points in 2013. We're offering a bonus 40 points at the first round at Taree and at Round 4 at Welby. All five rounds will now count towards series points for teams while the best four results will count for soloists. The team substitute rules have been slightly relaxed to help make full attendance of the Series achievable. So if you're competing for Series podiums in 2013, it's super important to head here for the full details on series points.
Series sponsor Cycology has come up with a fantastic design for this year's t-shirt - we're pretty confident this will be a must-have for every wardrobe! If you already own one of Cycology's tees, you'll know that along with featuring the most awesome designs the shirt quality is top-notch.
As always, the Series tee is available in both mens and ladies sizes. Click on the image to view the women's style. You can order your shirt with event entry for $25, and you’ll pick it up at Rego. Order by the end of March to guarantee your tee! We may also have some available to purchase at the event (cash only).
T-shirt Sizing Guide (note women's tee is semi-fitted cotton) - also note that in the men's sizes tees are on the smaller end of the sizing chart, so if you're between sizes then it's best to go up rather than down.
Check out the awesome 2013 Series jersey featuring our famous "Singletrack on the Brain" graphic but in a fabulous new design by OnTheGo! Show the world your passion for singletrack! It will be available to purchase with your entry for only $65, it comes in mens and womens styles, features highest quality YKK zippers and OnTheGo's elite fabric.
Note that we'll be doing a first order in the week beginning 18 March so if you want to guarantee yours to pick up at Round 1, you'll have to order it ASAP! Otherwise, we'll get it to you at a future round or via good old snail mail.
We're sure that this will be a stylish but high performance addition to your riding kit. Click on the image for a larger view!
Jersey Sizing Guide - note that in the men's sizes jerseys are on the smaller end of the sizing chart, so if you're between sizes then it's best to go up rather than down.
We occasionally receive requests from people who suddenly find they have a free spot on their team or want to race but don't fancy solo and need help in finding other riders to team up with. While we can't guarantee 100% success in our matchmaking service, we're more than happy to try and help out!
In particular, the Fab Fours category is aimed towards those just getting into racing who may want to try the challenge of teams racing in a fun and social format. The emphasis for this category is on participation. We're super keen to help people form teams in this category - so if you'd like to race but don't know anyone to team up with, plus you want to make sure your team mates aren't going to be too gung ho about the 'racing' side of things, then send us your details.
Fill out this form and we'll see what we can do. Please note that in the meantime, you should continue your own search for team mate(s) and please do let us know if you do have success so we can cross you off the 'lonely hearts' list!
We're looking for willing people to join our event crew - if you'd like to volunteer to help us out on race weekend we'd really appreciate it! The type of roles for volunteers might be marshalling (either on or off the bike), Registration, event centre set up, assisting with timing, etc. You'll be well looked after during the event, given free entry to future Chocolate Foot event(s) of your choice, and hopefully you'll find it gratifying to know you've helped the participants have a fun day on their bikes! Head here to sign up.
All Chocolate Foot event supporters can purchase Hammer Products at a 12% discount on the Hammer Nutrition website. Purchase the products online then proceed to the checkout cart. Insert the code CHOC FOOT into the coupon section, check out, and your discount will be applied.
