A link to the full information for each round will be listed above when available, but for now here's a bit of info on each location and why we're stoked about the schedule for 2011!

Round 1: On 17 April Hunter Mountain Bike Association have invited us to play on the excellent singletrack of Awaba State Forest. A sweet way to kick off the 2011 SRAM Singletrack Mind Series, huh? Well, so we thought ... but Mother Nature had other plans. This event had to be postponed due to heavy rainfall and will now become Round 8¼ on Sunday 27 November!

Round 2: May 29 in our hometown, 'glamorous' Nowra! The Coondoo Road course served up a great race this year and offers a bunch of different options for course setting and we're really looking forward to working with SCUM on this round of the SRAM Singletrack Mind Series. More info here.

Round 3: 26 June 2011 sees the series head for the singletrack oasis of Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra. We had a great event, with a big field of riders there this year so it was a no-brainer for us to head back and it will again be a great pleasure to work with the great and professional members of CORC!

Round 4: It may be getting a little chilly in August so we're serving up some red hot singletrack for you in Round 4! In conjunction with the Southern Highlands Cycling Club, the SRAM Singletrack Mind Series will be rocking Wingello State Forest on 21 August.

Round 5: It's new and still a work in progress, but The Australian Botanic Garden are committed to creating a mountain bike facility that will really rock! Naturally we're delighted to have been invited to have a round of the SRAM Singletrack Mind series there and by the event date of 18 September 2011 we're told it will be a very much more evolved venue than it is now! Add to that a pump track competition and Cinema Under the Stars the evening before - we think this round will be awesome!

Round 6: We launched the SRAM Singletrack Mind series here in 2010, so we're very fond of Lidsdale State Forest at Lithgow. As you may have heard the current track area is to be logged but Flynny and the great crew from CTMBC have been permission to build a whole new bunch of fun and flowy trails in a different compartment of Lidsdale. So by the event date of 23 October, Lithgow will be THE place to go!! And being the final round we're gonna party, so bring ya dancin' shoes!

Round 8¼: This is the new date for what was Round 1, and will be hosted by Hunter MTB Association at Awaba State Forest on 18 December. Prepare for the best Xmas party ever, Santa has confirmed he's now racing (sans Reindeer!) as a warm up event for his Christmas marathon, though he is a singlespeeder which is a little sus ... There will also be beer, chocolate, good tunes (no Xmas musak!), a truly ludicrous amount of prizes to give away and of course 8¼ hours of Awaba's fine singletrack, the best present a mountain biker could ever have, so start the celebrations early with us on 18 December!

corporate-cupSpring Fat Tyre Festival Corporate Cup

With the good guys from Wannaride now pursuing other interests, they have happily handed the baton of the Spring Fat Tyre Festival's Corporate Cup to Chocolate Foot. Much the same as previous years, the Cup will take place at the flowing singletrack oasis that's Newcastle's Awaba Mountain Bike park on 27 November 2011. It will be part of the final round of the SRAM Singletrack Mind Series that, in the tradition of the Spring Fat Tyre Festival, will be an 8¼ hour enduro event. Corporate teams will be all set up for a comfortable and hassle-free day out on the trails with a marquee, chairs, tables and most importantly drinks and snacks to keep you fuelled. In addition, Series sponsor Hammer Nutrition are providing their award winning HEED endurance drink pre-mixed for your convenience.
