Entry Process

Entry is via MTBA's online entry system, which will require you to pay by Visa or Mastercard. If you don't have a credit card, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for alternative payment details.

If you are an MTBA member, you may already have a login on the MTBA system which will allow you to enter without having to type in all your personal details. This also enables you to renew your MTBA membership online at the appropriate time. If you haven't already got a login, visit the MTBA website to register for this. You can login at any time to change your personal or entry details - see Changes to Entries below.

The entry process for Non-MTBA members is the same, you will create a login but will need to enter all your personal details, and you will be charged $20 for your day permit (and other non-MTBA members day permits) when you make your payment. You can login at a later date to change your personal or entry details - see Changes to Entries below.

Insurance

To compete at the Rock Wallaby, every entrant must either have a current MTBA race licence or purchase a day permit. When completing online entry as a non-MTBA member, you will be charged $20 for a day permit. Please note that if you have a current MTBA race licence, you will need to show this at Registration, otherwise you will be asked to complete, and pay for, a day permit!

See the MTBA website for information on the insurance cover for MTBA members and day permit holders.

MTBA has recently introduced a Permit Rebate Scheme whereby if you can provide copies of three day permits you have purchased at races within the same calendar year, MTBA will discount a full membership by $30. Contact MTBA for more information.

Changes to Entries

Online entries, and changes to existing entries, will close at midnight on Wednesday 23 May. Changes to entries can be made until this date by logging into the online services section of the MTBA website with either your MTBA login or, if you're a non-MTBA member, the login you chose when you entered. You'll see an option called 'My Events' and here you can change your personal details. At this stage, category changes can only be made by contacting us on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

No changes to entries or categories will be possible after that time, however rider substitutions may still be made at Registration at the event. All substitute riders must fill out a Replacement Rider Form and bring it with them to Registration. If your new rider is not a MTBA member they will need to pay $20 (cash only) for a MTBA day permit even if the rider they are replacing has already paid for a day permit online – the insurance policy always stays with the individual. Day permits are not transferable BUT the unused day permit will be refunded to the rider who originally paid for it in online entry – minus a buck ($1) for administration.

Cancellations

All entry cancellations must be made by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by phone to 0457 084 552 no later than midnight (EST) on Sunday 13 May 2012 to be considered for a refund. Cancellations received after midnight (EST) on Sunday 13 May 2012 will not be considered for a refund, however rider substitutions may still be made until midnight on Wednesday 23 May, and at Registration at the event.
