Final Rider List - posted Thursday 24 May after close of entries
If you are an MTBA member, you may already have a login on the MTBA system which will allow you to enter without having to type in all your personal details. This also enables you to renew your MTBA membership online at the appropriate time. If you haven't already got a login, visit the MTBA website to register for this. You can login at any time to change your personal or entry details - see Changes to Entries below.
The entry process for Non-MTBA members is the same, you will create a login but will need to enter all your personal details, and you will be charged $20 for your day permit (and other non-MTBA members day permits) when you make your payment. You can login at a later date to change your personal or entry details - see Changes to Entries below.
To compete at the Rock Wallaby, every entrant must either have a current MTBA race licence or purchase a day permit. When completing online entry as a non-MTBA member, you will be charged $20 for a day permit. Please note that if you have a current MTBA race licence, you will need to show this at Registration, otherwise you will be asked to complete, and pay for, a day permit!
See the MTBA website for information on the insurance cover for MTBA members and day permit holders.
MTBA has recently introduced a Permit Rebate Scheme whereby if you can provide copies of three day permits you have purchased at races within the same calendar year, MTBA will discount a full membership by $30. Contact MTBA for more information.
Changes to Entries
No changes to entries or categories will be possible after that time, however rider substitutions may still be made at Registration at the event. All substitute riders must fill out a Replacement Rider Form and bring it with them to Registration. If your new rider is not a MTBA member they will need to pay $20 (cash only) for a MTBA day permit even if the rider they are replacing has already paid for a day permit online – the insurance policy always stays with the individual. Day permits are not transferable BUT the unused day permit will be refunded to the rider who originally paid for it in online entry – minus a buck ($1) for administration.
Cancellations received after midnight (EST) on Sunday 13 May 2012 will not be considered for a refund, however rider substitutions may still be made until midnight on Wednesday 23 May, and at Registration at the event.
There will be no on the day entries, so get yourself organised in advance and enter by the closing date! If you happen to miss the closing date and wish to race, then contact us by phone (0457 084 552) to see if there are places spare - where possible we will allow you to enter at Registration however an additional $10 fee per rider will be charged.
Unfortunately Mother Nature and other factors can get in the way of us enjoying the sport we love ... as such, Chocolate Foot reserve the right to cancel the race at any time which may be due to fire, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, forest closure, or any other circumstances. Should this occur, the event will be rescheduled where possible and no refunds will be issued although entries may be transferred to other riders.
All entrants must read, and agree to the terms of, the event waiver during the entry process. At Registration, all riders must sign their name to confirm that they have read and understood this waiver. Riders under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian present to sign on their behalf.
